Hey Athletes!

Here are some things going on in the CrossFit community and at CFV that everyone should know about!

We have three athletes competing in this!

Tricia Bates- Heat times- 9:28am, 11:26am, 1:20pm

We will be going up to support them after the morning class!

Brevard CrossFit Open: Starts the last week of October.

Cost- $40. Comes with a shirt.

4 week qualifying comp, against other Brevard county CrossFit gyms.

3 different levels. ELITE, INTERMEDIATE and NOVICE. There are also 2 masters divisions.

Here is the link to sign-upĀ http://wodscores.io/Brevard_Open_2015/rgstr

You have until the first week of the open to sign-up.

All athletes will judged and held to the standard of the WODs. Every Friday night we will have “Friday Night Lights” where this will be the dedicated day/night to be judged and do the WOD.

Halloween falls on a Saturday!

You know what that means!? That Saturday team WOD will be halloween costumes only! If you don’t wear a costume or something close to a costume, you CAN NOT WOD, or you’ll pay a penalty. It will be a great time, and we can judge who gets best costume (special prize will be awarded to the winner!).

New CrossFit Viera APP is coming soon for android and iPhone users!

Pretty excited about this!

This app will have a one stop shop for all your needs, and make digital gym life much easier.

Heres whats included:

All of CFV’s contact info

WODHOPPER (and all of its features)

Photos

WODs and news will be posted here, and it will notify you when something has been posted.

You can view the cameras when classes are live.

Event calendar

Facebook

Chat room

and.. You tube page

This should be coming out sometime next week! So, standby for the launch!

Starting in November:

The first and third Thursday of each month will be dedicated to “Bring a friend” day. This will be for all class hours. You will still have to RSVP for these classes and meet the minimum requirement for the class to be available.

This is a chance for friends or family members that are on the fence about what we do to come experience the intensity and community that you all love so much. The WODs will of course be guest friendly also .

If you have any questions about the events above, please don’t hesitate to ask!

Thanks,

Coach Matt
